The Direct Mail Marketing Group Privacy Policy
David McArthur was designated as our Corporate Privacy Officer under the Act.
"Personal Information" is information about an identifiable individual, but does not include the name, title, business address or telephone number of an employee of an organization.
The Direct Mail Marketing Group ensures the protection of all personal information by security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information that you entrust to us. This includes implementing physical, organizational, technological controls and employee training.
The Direct Mail Marketing Group is responsible for protecting personal information in its possession or custody, including personal information that has been transferred to or received from, a third party in the normal course of our commercial activities.
The Direct Mail Marketing Group uses personal information only on behalf of our customers and we always follow the instructions of our customer. It is the responsibility of our client to obtain the consent of the addressees that are responsible for supplying.
The Direct Mail Marketing Group will retain the customer supplied information for 7 days following the mailing date unless otherwise directed and will apply safeguards to the disposal of personal information. We will maintain a strict security system to safeguard any personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure or misuse.
The Direct Mail Marketing Group will make readily available to individuals specific information about its policies and practices relating to the management of Personal Information.
As a member of the Canadian Marketing Association we use the Association's "Do Not Contact Service".
